Oven Baked Chuck Steak

Fortunately this weekend is a light one. I’ll catch up on my favorite TV shows on Hulu, see a couple of new movies and put a little time into some projects around the house. A little later tonight I’ll go to my nephew’s first birthday party. Ok, he’s not really my nephew, but near enough.

After watching ‘Underworld: Awakening’ this afternoon, which I recommend, I decided to pick up a few things from the store for dinner. It’s called Oven Baked Chuck Steak. It’s tasty and extremely simple to make. Here is the recipe:

Time/Servings:

  • Prep: 10 minutes
  • Cook: 60 minutes
  • Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • Chuck steak
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package Lipton onion soup mix
  • Potato
  • Carrots
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Place steak on a large sheet of foil in a baking pan.
  3. Combine the cream of mushroom soup with the Lipton onion soup mis and spread over the meat. Add the carrots and diced potatoes around the steak.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Wrap tightly in the foil and bake for an hour.
